Caring for Elders During Disasters Continuum of Care Model: A Guide for Community-Based Planning

Description: This guide is the product of an ASPR-funded project to develop a model, information and resources to guide and support local communities in their efforts to develop and sustain a continuum of care for elders during disasters. This document, along with the Step-by-Step Companion Toolkit available as a separate PDF, provide a comprehensive guide to communities for engaging elder care stakeholders in the preparedness, response, and recovery cycles of all-hazards disaster management. The guide includes links to additional resources, and is one of five resources in the Continuum of Care Model.
